MA Diploma 2026

This year, the Master in Industrial Design celebrates its first graduating cohort — the first to complete the new MA, and the first to show their work here. Some projects move through a transdisciplinary lens, drawing methods and questions from beyond design's usual borders. Others take a stubbornly material approach, thinking through clay, wool and the microbial beings we are entangled with. What they share is a willingness to risk better questions over confident answers.

These are material arguments rather than products waiting to be shipped. From microbial alliances to woolly ecologies, the MA projects ask how industrial design might act differently: more slowly, more carefully, more curiously, in a world that no longer takes the human as the measure of all things.

The Master projects are on view from 11 to 26 June 2026 in the Nordraum (3.T06) at the ZHdK, Toni-Areal.
