Designperspektiven: «Solar Design» with Marjan van Aubel

Solar energy is so much more than just its technical aspects. Solar design is emotional. It activates people and invites them to engage with their surroundings in a new way. In her talk, Marjan will offer insights into her work and projects, and discuss why changing the storytelling around solar energy is essential to positively change our behaviour. She will show a variety of solar designs, dive into how to transform an idea into a real product and highlight the importance of exchange and collaboration in working toward a solar-powered future.

Marjan van Aubel Studio is an award-winning solar design practice that brings solar energy into everyday life through innovative, sustainable solutions. The studio seamlessly integrates solar power into buildings and objects to make clean energy more accessible. Notable works include Sunne, Current Table, Power Plant, and the solar roof of the Netherlands Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai. Marjan collaborates with global brands, and her work is featured in leading museums worldwide.
