MRI Headrest
This Project aims to find a practical solution to stabilize the human head, close to 0.8 millimeters of maximum movement, during an MRI scan of 45 minutes.
Clear and high resolution images are a need for three involved parties. Science needs high resolution images to push science further, the clinic needs clear images for reliable diagnosis and patient wants to deliver good images to get a proper diagnosis. One solution for these needs is a good stabilization and support for the head to take away stress of the patient and deliver better image quality.
